In his 30 years as a logistics professional, David has delivered modal supply chain solutions for transport and logistics companies across the UK and Europe. He founded the Logistics Job Shop, a national online recruitment solution for the logistics industry. In 2015, David took Skills For Logistics from a government funded skills body and relaunched it as a sustainable Apprenticeships End-Point Assessment Organisation and international skills consultancy. David is passionate about tackling the endemic skills challenge facing the Transport and Logistics industry, focusing on attracting the next generation of professionals with digital skills.
Tony Hodgins is a graduate from Birmingham University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having spent seven years in the profession. He is the co-founder and Managing Director of Wheale Thomas Hodgins, a unique search and selection consultancy specialising in Board and Senior Management positions. Tony has gained a reputation for investing time with the client at the start of a project to understand not only the subtleties of the role but also the values and principles of the client. Since 2016, Tony has worked with David on revitalising The Skills Group Ltd and its subsidiary business, Skills For Logistics Ltd.
Paul has been instrumental in the successful growth of several innovative businesses in the logistics, learning and development sectors, including the creation of a membership trade organisation that's used to represent logistics training providers and promote their collective interests to government, regulators, the wider logistics and passenger transport sectors. In his role as Development Director of Skills For Logistics, Paul works at the heart of apprenticeship standards to support learners across the sector. Working closely with employers and learning providers, he's able to help learners develop with quality-assured support throughout their learning.
